Overview

Noah And The Seven Pendants is a Adventure, R.P.G , 2D Game which is under construction.

The following  project is more of a proof of concept as of now.

Noah And The Seven Pendants is a story driven game where the player must play as Noah a 14 year old boy and travel through his perils and adventure.

Brief Story

Noah is a 14 year old boy living in London with his adoptive mother Elizabeth Harris.

Noah is the world to Elizabeth and Noah feels the same way towards Elizabeth, as they both have only one another to call as family in this whole wide world.

They live a peaceful life until Elizabeth falls sick badly all of a sudden.

Her condition worsens , and before drawing her last breath , she holds Noah and whispers something near his ear and gives him a pendant and screams RUN!!!.

Noah confused and depressed runs of to fetch a doctor even knowing the fact that chances of saving Elizabeth are near to nil.

Even though the young boy doesn't give up , He runs and runs until , out of nowhere he faints and hears chants and whispers in language unknown to him , but something

reminiscent.

when Noah wakes up he finds himself in another world .

Yes the Young Boy has been summoned to a whole another world ,

What adventure awaits him?

Why was he summoned in the first place?

What will happen to Elizabeth?

What was the pendant Elizabeth gave Noah for?

The answers to that you will unveil upon playing Noah And The Seven Pendants...

Thoughts And Approach

Noah And The Seven Pendants is a Full-scale 2D Game. The approach was to somehow create a world where the players can feel and experience what Noah goes through in his adventures.

I had  to keep it in mind that it is in 2D while thinking of lights , animation and Game system as well as mechanics.

The game is a story driven adventure RPG game , hence coming up with a strong story and setting up the world based on it was the first priority.

Animation

Animation was definitely among the adversities I had to face while making this game.

Animating the characters to give it life , was definitely a task  by itself. But anyway I came to enjoy it later, the character suddenly sparks into life when you animate it.

The real adversity i faced was , coming up with the proper animations  to Convey or express what the character wanted to express. Overall I had a good time animating ,

Basic Movements Prototype Test

Testing out the animations and mechanics before finalizing them is an important procedure , as it saves a lot of time in the future .
